Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of our school community, I would like to offer you a warm welcome to our wonderful school. I am delighted that you have visited our website to find out a little bit more about us.

Topcliffe is an inclusive, committed and caring school where the children are placed at the very heart of everything we do. We are a mainstream primary school with a 52 place resource base provision which supports autistic pupils and also children diagnosed with a specific developmental language disorder . For us, education is about meeting the needs of the whole child by focusing on the development of their well-being and character as well as their academic achievement. In order to achieve this, our staff work hard to deliver a values based, rich curriculum that inspires and challenges all children academically, whilst also encouraging them to be curious, independent and develop a love of learning.

Our HARRI values (Healthy, Aspirational, Resilient, Respectful, Independent) are embedded within every day life at Topcliffe. Every member of our community is expected to embrace our HARRI values to support us in creating and maintaining a happy, safe, respectful and nurturing learning environment for all.
