My focus as the mainstream Senco is to ensure that your child’s needs are met to enable them to reach their potential both educationally and socially.
I work with class teachers, the learning mentors, school support staff and outside agencies so that children are supported at all points of their education journey. If you have any concerns or worries about your child’s progress then your first point of call is your child’s class teacher. However, I am more than happy to discuss children who are on our send register with parents and carers to make sure that we are all working together positively.
I have worked with children and their families with additional needs for over 10 years and I am passionate about supporting their progress every step of the way.
I am excited to be working at Topcliffe to continue this support.
– Mrs McElroy-Stringer
After working at Topcliffe School for several years I am now known to most as Mrs Q. I have been appointed SENCo for all our Resource Bases. I am looking forward to working with all our families to provide the very best provision for all our pupils, to ensure that they all have the very best opportunities to experience a positive Primary school education that will ultimately enhance their life chances.
